About TrueWorth

We hand you the mirror. The rest is yours.

Most tools want to manage your money. TrueWorth just wants you to see it clearly — what it's actually doing, right now, in numbers that are real. No advice. No agenda. Just the reflection.

Why this exists

Almost every money decision you make is taken in the dark — blind to two forces that move quietly in the background and never send you a notification. Inflation shaves value off every dollar you hold. Opportunity cost is the future you trade away every time that dollar sits still. Both are invisible. Both are working on you right now.

TrueWorth drags those two forces into the light and makes them personal — your numbers, your timeline, your reflection. It will never lecture you, score you, rank you against strangers, or tell you what to do next. It points at what's already happening and lets you decide what it means.

Three things nobody shows you

Working isn't making money

It's renting out your time for a currency that loses value every single day. The clock runs whether you notice it or not.

A raise can be a pay cut

A raise under inflation is a pay cut with better PR. The number on your paycheck went up. What it buys may have gone down.

Every dollar leaks value

The only real question is whether you can see it happening. TrueWorth makes the leak visible — so it stops being a surprise.

What it is

TrueWorth is free and open source under the MIT License. It runs entirely in your browser — no accounts, no sign-in, no tracking, nothing sent to a server. The math is built on real CPI-U data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, not vibes.

It is a mirror, not a financial advisor. It shows you what your money is doing. What you do about it is entirely, completely yours.

TrueWorth is not financial advice. It shows what your money is doing; it does not tell you what to do with it.
