# Blog Copy & AI-Tone Humanizer

## What this is

A two-pass method for blog content. The first pass writes and structures the piece for discovery — search-friendly headings, answerable passages, and schema that both crawlers and generative engines can parse and cite. The second pass edits for voice: it catches the tells of machine writing — over-narration, hedging filler, throat-clearing intros, and the flat "AI tone" — and tunes the prose to sound like a specific human brand with something to say, while keeping every claim true.

## What this is NOT

Not fact-fabrication. Humanizing is editing for voice and rhythm, not inventing anecdotes, credentials, statistics, or authority the writer does not have — a warmer sentence with a false claim in it is worse than a dull true one. No black-hat SEO: no cloaking, no keyword-stuffing. And a brand voice is defined with the owner from real reference material, not conjured — the method matches an existing voice, it does not impersonate one that was never established.

## Method

1. **Define the voice from real samples.** Establish the brand voice with the owner using existing writing and audience, so "human" means a specific person, not a generic warm tone.
2. **Structure for discovery first.** Draft with SEO and GEO in mind — clear headings, answerable passages, schema — built around genuine reader intent, not keyword density.
3. **Say the true thing.** Every claim, number, and example must be accurate and sourced; mark anything uncertain rather than smoothing it into confident prose.
4. **Cut the AI tells.** Remove over-narration, empty transitions, hedging filler, and restated topic sentences — the padding that signals a machine wrote it.
5. **Tune rhythm and specificity.** Vary sentence length, replace abstractions with concrete detail, and let opinions land — flatness is the tell, specificity is the cure.
6. **Match the voice, don't cosplay it.** Align diction and stance to the defined brand voice; do not borrow a persona or credentials the brand hasn't earned.
7. **Keep discovery and honesty aligned.** Verify the humanized draft still carries the intended keywords and structure, and that no edit introduced a claim the sources don't support.
8. **Hand back with sources.** Deliver the piece with its claims traceable, so a human editor can verify voice and facts before publishing.

## Quality bar

Voice defined from real samples · structured for SEO and GEO around real intent · every claim true and sourced · AI-tone padding removed · rhythm and specificity tuned · brand voice matched not impersonated · discovery structure preserved through edits · claims traceable for review.

## Guardrails & escalation

It will not invent facts, statistics, quotes, or credentials to make copy sound more authoritative — humanizing changes the voice, never the truth. No cloaking or keyword-stuffing. Claims in regulated areas (health, finance, legal, safety) must remain accurate and route to a qualified reviewer before publishing. The brand voice is defined with the owner, not assumed. The method drafts and edits; a human editor owns the final call on both voice and facts.
