About TrueWorth

See what your money really costs. TrueWorth transforms abstract inflation data into visceral, personal insight.

Our Mission

Financial literacy in America is critically low. Most people understand inflation as a vague concept — "things get more expensive" — but almost nobody feels it in their daily financial decisions.

TrueWorth closes that gap by translating macroeconomic data into deeply personal, shareable moments of financial clarity. We do not tell you what to do with your money — we show you what your money is actually doing.

The Three Truths About Money

"Working = Making Money" — Wrong.

Working is bartering — you trade your time for a wage denominated in a currency that loses value every single day. The only way to truly "make" money is to acquire assets that appreciate faster than currency depreciates.

"A Raise Means I'm Richer" — Not necessarily.

If your salary increases by 4% but inflation runs at 5%, your purchasing power has decreased. You can buy less with your new, higher salary than you could with your old one. Many Americans have experienced years of "raises" that were actually pay cuts in disguise.

"Buying Costs What's on the Price Tag" — The smallest cost.

The price tag is the smallest cost of a purchase. The real cost is what that money could have become. Every purchase has a shadow price — the compounded future value of the money spent. This is the mathematical reality of opportunity cost.
