Project Overview

Many internet users face challenges in identifying increasingly sophisticated phishing attempts, malware, and automated attacks. Existing security tools can be complex to operate or may not offer comprehensive real-time protection. CyberGuard Hub aims to address this gap by offering advanced threat analysis and practical security tools through a single, integrated platform, enabling users to proactively and more effectively defend against online risks. This project combines real-time phishing link analysis, isolated secure website previews, user interaction pattern monitoring, and a customizable threat intelligence database, striving to be a comprehensive digital guardian for users in the complex online environment.

  • Real-Time Phishing Detector: Developed advanced detection logic to analyze URL patterns, domain information, and known phishing indicators in real-time. It identifies and alerts users to potential phishing websites through sophisticated rule-based matching, aiming to prevent the loss of personal data or assets.
  • Simulated Sandbox Browse Mode: Provides an isolated Browse environment (iframe-based) where users can safely open suspicious links. The sandbox mode restricts scripts, plugins, and cookies, thereby preventing potentially malicious code from harming the user's local system.
  • Anomalous Behavior Monitor: Monitors user interaction patterns on web pages, such as click frequency and mouse movement, comparing them against predefined security thresholds. This helps detect anomalous activities that might indicate malicious scripts or automated bots, triggering real-time alerts.
  • Integrated Threat Intelligence Database: Allows users to create, view, add, or remove lists of suspicious URLs. This centralized database is shared across all feature modules (e.g., Phishing Detector) to enhance overall protection against known threats and malicious websites.
  • User-Friendly Interface & Dynamic Visualization: Offers a clear and intuitive user interface. It presents security status and data through dynamic visualizations, such as the behavior monitoring chart, enabling users to easily understand and stay informed about their current security posture.
